Nightwing #142

"Thanks for the tidbit, Obi-Wan."
"I’m a walking fortune cookie."
"Yeah, and a stale one at that."

There is nothing that makes me happier than the Batfam acting like a family. Especially the boys acting like brothers.

Bonus: Poor Alfred

You know how there’s that one panel/page (or scene or even paragraph) that just defines your favorite character?  The be-all, end-all litmus test of characterization?
This is that page for Damian Wayne.

Tim Drake: first in pants.

Not the first Robin in flight, but the first to do it with pants on.

This has been retconned before in the comics and, notably, in various DCU animated shows and features, starting with the original Batman: TAS. But when I first started enjoying comics as a wee youngin’ in the early 90’s, the idea of “Robin with pants” was revolutionary to me, so I always have the urge to assume it’s Tim every time I see Robin with pants.

Agreed, I grew up with Tim as my Robin. It’s always been weird to me that everywhere but the comics Dick is wearing Tim’s costume. From Batman: TAS and Teen Titans, to Batman Forever.
